Sua planta pode precisar de uma casa maior
Ou, no caso dela, um vaso maior. Movê-la para um vaso cerca de 3 centímetros maior do que o anterior já pode fazer grande diferença e permitir o crescimento saudável das raízes. Se ela estiver em um jardim ou jardineira, verifique se não há plantas demais em um espaço muito restrito.
O excesso de folhas e raízes pode impedir a respiração e o desenvolvimento das plantas que ali estiverem. Retire folhas e galhos secos para permitir melhor circulação de ar e considere transferir algumas para outro espaço.
Também é importante, só colocar no mesmo local, plantas que possuam as mesmas necessidades. Ao misturar as espécies, você pode acabar prejudicando o bem-estar delas.
Nem dieta restrita, nem livre demanda
Uma das melhores formas de como cuidar de plantas, é saber dosar a quantidade de água. O excesso dela pode ser tão prejudicial quanto a falta. Principalmente espécies de clima árido, como cactos e suculentas, que preferem muito mais uma terra seca do que encharcada.
É importante, também, se informar sobre as necessidades específicas da espécie que você estiver tentando recuperar, ajustando os cuidados de acordo com o que ela precisa.
Além disso, a rega nunca deve ser igual em todas as épocas do ano, visto que o clima e a umidade relativa do ar são diferentes a cada estação e isso deve ser levado em conta na hora de pensar na quantidade de água que sua plantinha precisa.
Incidência solar
Se sua planta estiver em processo de recuperação, prefira deixá-la ao ar livre, em local arejado, mas coberto e protegido da incidência direta. O sol da manhã é o melhor para sua planta, então, se o problema for, na verdade, falta de sol, prefira este horário para levá-la para “se bronzear”.
Proteja-a, também, do vento forte, especialmente se estivermos tratando de espécies com folhas largas e compridas, que podem rasgar com mais facilidade.

Desde lesmas e caramujos até formigas e uma cultura de fungos, essas visitas inconvenientes podem causar graves danos ou até acabar definitivamente com a sua planta.
As pragas podem atacar qualquer vaso ou jardim e, para combatê-las, utilize fungicidas e pesticidas, mas com cuidado e orientação profissional, certo? Nunca utilize produtos não regulamentados pelos órgãos responsáveis, caso contrário, o resultado pode ser o total oposto do desejado.
Aprender a língua das plantas é fundamental
Assim como os pets, as plantas também possuem a sua própria forma de comunicação e aprender esse “idioma” pode ser o diferencial para mantê-las saudáveis. Os fatores são muitos e, para cada um, há uma solução diferente.
De modo geral, no entanto, algumas medidas de emergência podem ser tomadas para a recuperação da sua plantinha:
- Corte as folhas, flores e galhos secos;
- Retire a planta do vaso com cuidado, preservando as raízes, e coloque em um vaso maior com argila expandida (para a drenagem da água) e manta de drenagem, que irá segurar o substrato;
- Faça uma rega com bastante ou pouca água, dependendo da necessidade da espécie. Algumas plantas gostam de água nas folhas, já outras, como cactos e suculentas, não suportam;
- Aplique adubo especial para a espécie,
- Mantenha o vaso em local protegido, arejado e com claridade, mas sem exposição direta ao sol.
